One day, on a typical bright summer day here in Vancouver, we got a call from a client and told us they need to present a conceptual waterpark design to the BIG BOSS - meaning the decision maker - in the next couple of days.
What?...you heard it right, the NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. "So, couple means two days?" we asked... "Yes", the client said.
Being competitive we are, we accepted the challenge.
We are required to design a combination of indoor/outdoor waterpark and a dry theme park on an eighteen (18) hectares of land surrounded mostly by a body of water in black and white.
COUPLE OF DAYS LATER, WE DELIVER.
How did we do it? Easy, we imagined ourselves being chased by a Cheetah - the fastest animal - and release the Usain Bolt - the fastest man - within ourselves. We did not allow that "couple of days" caught upon our years of design experience.
COUPLE OF DAYS? EAT OUR DUST!!!
